Glasgow Warriors supporters can have their photograph taken with the URC trophy next week.

The Scottish Rugby Store have announced a URC Trophy Day after the Warriors lifted the title last season.

Supporters can attend the store, on Glasgow Queen Street, between 12pm and 3pm on Monday to get a snap with the silverware.

A Scottish Rugby Store announcement read: "URC Trophy Day! Monday 12th August 12pm-3pm Scottish Rugby Store, Queen Street, Glasgow!

"Pop in, get a photo with the trophy and get ready for the new season!"

Glasgow Warriors won the United Rugby Championship against the odds after coming back from 13-0 down to defeat the Bulls.

The Glasgow outfit had been written off in many corners but stormed to victory by a 21-16 scoreline last month.

Franco Smith's side had to travel 9,000 miles for the final and faced a daunting sold-out Loftus Versfeld stadium but silenced the 50,000 supporters with the stunning victory.
