WATCH: The Best Of Scotland Newboy Cornell du Preez

Cornell du Preez has been named on the bench for Scotland’s crunch game against England this Saturday and we’ve got some of his most impressive highlights for you to enjoy.

The 25 year old, South African born Edinburgh forward has scored 13 tries in 72 games for Edinburgh-  which is quite an accomplishment when you consider how few the team tend to score. Were it not for a series of injuries, that tally would no doubt be higher.

It was much the same for Super Rugby strugglers the Southern Kings, where he scored 5 tries in just 16 starts and the provincial Leopards where he scored 9 tries in 19 games.

But it’s not just his try scoring abilities that have caught the eye, he’s an accomplished defender, most notably with two amazing tap tackles against Gloucester in the European Challenge Cup Final.
