Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend has made five changes to his starting line-up for the Six Nations clash with Wales in Cardiff on Saturday.
Among them, British and Irish Lions duo Blair Kinghorn and Duhan van der Merwe both return to the side having missed the first two matches of the campaign.
Kinghorn takes over from Tom Jordan - who drops to the bench - at fullback, while Van der Merwe, Scotland's record try scorer with 35 tries in 52 caps, is preferred to Darcy Graham as the replacement for the injured Jamie Dobie.
Up front, Dave Cherry has been handed a starting opportunity at hooker, while Max Williamson steps in for the injured Jamie Ritchie, with Gregor Brown moving to the back-row.
Matt Fagerson replaces another injury victim, Jack Dempsey, at number eight.
Grant Gilchrist, who started the opener against Italy but was dropped for the win over England, returns on the bench, while Josh Bayliss will cover the back-row.
Former Edinburgh Rugby hooker Cherry, now with Vannes, is the only non-Glasgow Warriors player in the starting forward pack, while Van der Merwe is the only player in the starting line-up from the capital club.
Wales head coach Steve Tandy, the former Scotland assistant, named his team on Thursday morning, making four changes from the dismal defeat to France.

Scotland will be aiming for a fourth consecutive win over Wales for the first time in nearly 100 years on Saturday.
And they go into the match knowing a win would set up shot at a first Triple Crown of the Six Nations era against Ireland in Dublin on the final weekend.
